The log contains a description of a trip, September 1855 to December 1855, from New York City to Bahia, Brazil, under Captain William D. Gregory, as kept by crewman E. G. Williams of Richmond. The ship Tejuca took flour to Brazil and sugar back from Brazil. There is also a description of the city of Bahia and a shorter description of Pernambuca.
